Job summary

Merck seeks a Cardiovascular Disease Specialist to drive patient impact by leveraging scientific expertise and serving as the primary contact for customers in the Phoenix, AZ territory.

You will collaborate with Account Executives and Integrated Delivery Systems leaders to deliver patient-focused solutions and manage relationships with cardiologists, primary care, and other healthcare professionals across multiple settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or equivalent with 0–3 years of relevant work experience.
• S2: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) or high school diploma with 3+ years Sales experience or 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• Able to analyze complex data and leverage insights to develop strategic sales plans.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of time and reside in territory or relocate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory-level business plan aligned with policies and ethics.
• Maintain current product knowledge and certifications for the portfolio.
• Conduct compliant product sales discussions with health care providers and business professionals.
• Provide management with updates on customer needs, marketplace dynamics, and progress toward quality goals.
• Be knowledgeable on headquarter approved information regarding approved company products, disease, and marketplace
• Monitor business performance against objectives using company tools to support effective planning and sales impact.
