Qualifications

• Handle a high-volume portfolio of California employment law matters from pre-litigation through resolution.
• Perform legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents in line with California law.
• Take and defend depositions and support all phases of litigation when settlement is not possible.
• Evaluate claims, develop case strategy, and participate in settlement negotiations.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while providing strategic client guidance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume portfolio of California employment law claims, handling matters from pre-litigation through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents in compliance with California employment laws.
• Take and defend depositions and support all phases of the litigation process when matters cannot be resolved through settlement.
• Evaluate claims, develop case strategy, and participate in settlement negotiations and other dispute resolution efforts.
• Independently manage assigned matters with minimal supervision while providing strategic legal support and guidance to the client.
