Beacon Hill Staffing Group seeks a California Employment Attorney for a remote contract assignment anticipated to last approximately 2 to 6 months. The attorney will manage a high-volume portfolio of California employment matters, supporting a single client from pre-litigation through litigation when necessary.

Active CA Bar in good standing and CA residency are required. Minimum 4 years of California employment law experience, with in-house or law firm background, and ability to work

Qualifications

• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• Reside and practice in California.
• Minimum of 4 years of California employment law experience.
• Experience handling employment litigation matters, including research, motions, pleadings, and depositions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume portfolio of California employment claims from pre-litigation through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents per California employment laws.
• Take and defend depositions and support all phases of the litigation process when matters cannot be resolved through settlement.
• Evaluate claims, develop case strategy, and participate in settlement negotiations and other dispute resolution efforts.
• Independently manage assigned matters with minimal supervision while providing strategic legal support and guidance to the client.
