Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a California Employment Attorney for a remote contract assignment anticipated to last approximately 2 to 6 months. The attorney will support a single client with a high-volume, revolving portfolio of employment-related matters and will play a key role in managing claims from pre-litigation through the litigation process when necessary.

The role requires active California Bar membership, residency in California, and at least 4 years of California employment

Formación

• Active California Bar membership in good standing.
• Reside and practice in California.
• Minimum of 4 years of California employment law experience.
• Experience handling employment litigation matters with research, motions, pleadings and depositions.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a high-volume portfolio of California employment law claims from pre-litigation through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other litigation documents compliant with California law.
• Take and defend depositions and support all phases of litigation when settlement is not possible.
• Evaluate claims, develop case strategy and participate in settlement negotiations.
• Independently manage assigned matters with minimal supervision and provide strategic guidance.
