Job summary

InteLogix is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support multiple geographic regions with a primary focus in California. The role covers employee relations, training, onboarding, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.

Responsibilities include developing policies, conducting orientations, handling investigations, maintaining HRIS data, and ensuring CA wage-and-hour compliance. Excellent communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.
• 5+ years of HR generalist experience supporting California employees, including CA wage/hour rules, CFRA/PDL, PAGA, and CA compliance.
• Knowledge of compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee/union relations, diversity, performance management, and applicable laws.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer HR plans and procedures; update employee handbook and policies.
• Assist in setting department goals and systems.
• Conduct new employee orientations; write and revise job descriptions.
• Handle employee relations counseling and exit interviews.
• Attend meetings and seminars with administrative staff.
• Maintain HRIS records and generate reports.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Support performance management, including disciplinary actions.
• Conduct HR investigations and provide recommendations.
