Job summary

Cambium Learning Group is seeking a Growth and Retention Account Executive to drive new business and long-term customer success across the Los Angeles County territory. You will cultivate district relationships, deliver literacy products, and manage revenue growth with a hunter mindset.

You will lead strategic territory management, collaborate with customer success, and present to high-level education leaders while traveling up to 50% to maximize pipeline and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of business development, sales and account management.
• Experience with technology-based curriculum products; literacy preferred.
• Deep knowledge of the K-12 education landscape and funding cycles.
• Proven ability to close complex deals and hit revenue targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan to achieve quota across districts.
• Identify upsell opportunities and collaborate with Customer Success for adoption and renewals.
• Deliver compelling presentations to district-level stakeholders, verbally and in writing.
• Build relationships with superintendents, curriculum directors, and technology leaders.
• Create professional proposals aligned to district goals and funding sources.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address district challenges and drive outcomes.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records and provide reliable forecasts.
• Travel up to 50% within territory and participate in virtual engagements.
