Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Business Intake Liaison to manage the intake of new work, gathering necessary information from attorneys and clients and ensuring completeness before entry into firm systems.

You will coordinate with conflicts, information governance, docketing, and billing teams, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent client service while resolving data issues to support smooth onboarding. This role may be remote or in any of our locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred.
• 3-5 years’ relevant legal or customer service experience required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and EMS.
• Excellent client and customer service skills and data accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication, time management, and data integrity skills.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and processes; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own the intake process for new matters, gathering required information from attorneys or clients.
• Review data for accuracy before uploading into firm systems.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to complete intake efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date business records in the firm database.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and prospects.
• Investigate and resolve data issues to minimize CRM and client impact.
• Monitor outstanding items and follow up until resolution.
