Job summary

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Business Intake Liaison to manage the intake process for new work and to lead cross-functional collaboration across conflicts, information governance, docketing, and billing. You will ensure data accuracy, maintain records, and provide excellent client service while partnering with attorneys and staff.

The role may be filled remotely or at any firm location, offering the opportunity for long-term growth and professional development within a large, national law

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 3–5 years' relevant experience in a legal or customer service environment is expected.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams (EMS).
• Excellent client and customer service skills with strong data accuracy and judgment.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and processes is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the intake process for new work (clients and/or matters) at the firm.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration during intake to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Own requests for opening matters in firm systems and move matters to Open for Billing.
• Ensure data in firm systems is complete and up to date, and resolve data issues.
• Provide excellent client service and build relationships with stakeholders in conflicts, information governance, docketing, and billing.
