Amcor is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive profitable growth by acquiring new business across the Western United States. This highly commercial, customer-facing role requires a hunter mindset and the ability to build relationships with decision-makers to deliver sustainable revenue growth.

You will identify strategic opportunities, cultivate prospective customers, and lead opportunities from engagement through commercialization, while collaborating with Marketing, R&D, Operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, technical sales, or strategic sales within a B2B environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.
• Proven success acquiring new business and delivering profitable sales growth.
• Ability to build and manage a robust sales pipeline and close complex opportunities.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and executive-level communication.
• Packaging industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory growth strategies focused on new customer acquisition.
• Prospect, identify, and pursue new business opportunities within targeted markets and segments.
• Maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities through outreach and industry engagement.
• Lead opportunities through the full sales cycle from engagement to commercialization.
• Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Operations, and other cross-functional teams.
• Build and expand customer relationships and growth strategies.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable plans balancing profitability.
• Coordinate internal resources to ensure successful implementation.
