Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive opportunity pipelines and secure high-value aerospace and defense contracts with ABT customers. This is a remote position, with consideration for candidates located on the East Coast or near Grand Rapids, MI, and it requires ~50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales.
• Experience in electronics industry.
• Experience in Military and Aerospace industry preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• 50% Travel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Amphenol Sales team to generate leads and representation.
• Market products and capabilities to expand the customer base.
• Research defense and aerospace market conditions and opportunities.
• Develop and execute targeted marketing plans and key account strategies.
• Deliver proposals and inform customers of ABT's value-add capabilities and services.
• Negotiate long-term agreements with key customers/programs.
• Work with Engineering to drive new product and capabilities.
• Review pricing submissions for accuracy and alignment.
• Develop bookings and sales forecasts from contracts and opportunities.
• Visit customers regularly to address issues and ensure support.
