Qualifications

• 2+ years in financial services operations or related function.
• Knowledge of US equities trade lifecycle concepts (order processing, settlement, positions, cash movements, corporate actions, account transfers).
• Experience investigating data breaks or operational exceptions across multiple systems and driving issues to resolution.
• Ability to follow documented procedures in regulated environments and exercise judgment on exceptions outside the runbook.
• Familiarity with clearing platforms (Apex Clearing), Jira, SQL or workflow-automation tools used in brokerage operations.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to deliver business-ready outputs and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily trade, position, balance, and cash reconciliations between Coinbase and Apex records with full documentation.
• Support onboarding and maintenance workflows, including documentation review and exception escalation.
• Process inbound/outbound securities transfers (ACATs) end-to-end from intake to submission and tracking.
• Monitor operational alerts and issue queues, prioritizing risk-impacting items and coordinating remediation across teams.
• Support corporate action operations by reviewing notices, monitoring deadlines, validating allocations, and investigating discrepancies.
• Identify recurring failure modes and propose practical improvements to reduce manual work and improve outcomes.
