Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate in Broker Dealer Operations to support the U.S. equities brokerage business. You will own key broker-dealer workflows, perform reconciliations, and drive improvements with Apex and internal teams.

You will build durable controls, contribute to test plans, and partner with engineering to enhance tooling and dashboards. A minimum of 5 years in financial services operations with broker-dealer exposure is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services operations, broker-dealer ops, or similar controls.
• Experience with US equities trade lifecycle (order processing, settlement, transfers).
• Experience in writing or improving SOPs, runbooks, controls docs in regulated settings.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring broker-dealer ops workflows across reconciliations, corporate actions, transfers, and regulatory reporting.
• Perform daily reconciliations between Coinbase and Apex records; investigate breaks and drive resolution.
• Manage complex incidents across multiple teams to prioritize by impact and restore service.
• Build and maintain audit-ready docs: SOPs, runbooks, control checklists, process maps.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define requirements and improve tooling and automation.
