Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Associate, Broker Dealer Operations to own and optimize broker-dealer workflows in support of the U.S. equities business. You will reconcile trades and positions with Apex, manage complex incidents, and document controls for audit readiness.

You will partner with Product and Engineering to validate new tooling and dashboards, drive operational improvements, and strengthen resilience across regulatory reporting and settlements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services operations or related control function.
• Experience with U.S. equities trade lifecycle: order processing, settlement, positions, cash movements.

Responsibilities

• Own broker-dealer operations workflows across reconciliations, corporate actions, transfers, and regulatory reporting support.
• Perform daily reconciliations between Coinbase and Apex records; investigate breaks and drive resolution.
• Manage complex exceptions and incidents by coordinating across multiple teams to minimize impact.
• Build and maintain audit-ready documentation: SOPs, runbooks, control checklists, process maps.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define requirements, test functionality, and improve tooling and dashboards.
• Identify systemic failure modes and lead process-improvement initiatives to boost resilience.
