Job summary

Coinbase is seeking an Associate, Broker Dealer Operations within the Capital Markets team to manage the daily operational engine behind our U.S. equities brokerage experience. This role ensures accounts, trades, cash, positions, transfers, and corporate actions are accurate, controlled, and scalable.

You will execute core broker-dealer workflows, investigate exceptions, and drive improvements that make operations safer and more efficient for millions of customers. Position ID: P78331.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in financial services operations or brokerage operations.
• Knowledge of U.S. equities trade lifecycle concepts.
• Experience investigating data breaks or operational exceptions.
• Ability to follow procedures in a regulated environment and handle exceptions.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily reconciliations between Coinbase and Apex records with documentation.
• Support onboarding and maintenance workflows, including reviews and escalation.
• Process inbound/outbound securities transfers end-to-end (ACATs).
• Monitor alerts, prioritize issues, and coordinate remediation across teams.
• Review corporate action notices and monitor deadlines during operations.
• Identify recurring issues and propose improvements to reduce manual work.
