Job summary

HigherRing is seeking a Bookkeeping Specialist to join a small, growing team on a remote, work-from-home basis. This W-2 role requires 10+ years of bookkeeping with CPG and accrual accounting experience, and you will manage client books, AR/AP, reconciliations, and reporting.

You will collaborate with the Bookkeeping Manager to deliver clean financials and data-driven insights, support tax prep, and document processes.

Qualifications

Over 10 years of bookkeeping experience with multiple clients.
CPG inventory and accrual accounting experience required.
Proficient in common bookkeeping software and financial tools.
Strong customer service and written/verbal communication skills.
Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Supports client bookkeeping: AR, AP, bank reconciliations, payroll, journals, and reporting.
Manage full-charge bookkeeping for multiple clients with clear documentation.
Create and interpret Balance Sheets, P&L, cash flows, and other reports.
Understand cash vs accrual accounting and apply correctly.
Research questions, document processes, and assist with tax prep data.
Attend meetings prepared to discuss status and opportunities.
Perform additional duties as requested.
