HigherRing is hiring a remote Bookkeeping Specialist to support multiple clients with full-charge bookkeeping from home. The role requires US and Canadian bookkeeping experience, inventory expertise, and proficiency in major accounting software.

You will work under the Bookkeeping Manager to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting while maintaining strong client communication. This is a W-2, remote position with competitive hourly pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

10+ years of bookkeeping experience.
Inventory experience required.
US and Canadian bookkeeping is required.
Experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, FreshBooks, Sage, NetSuite, Wave, Intacct, Procore.
Proficient in Google Workspace, Slack, and Asana.
Two-year accounting degree preferred; QB Pro Certification helpful.
Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and multitasking.
Bilingual: English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

Supports client bookkeeping functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, payroll, journal entries, and reporting.
Deep experience in full-charge bookkeeping with multiple clients.
Create and interpret financial reports such as Balance Sheets, P&L, and cash flows.
Understand cash vs. accrual accounting and related differences.
Be tech-savvy and comfortable with new accounting technologies.
Collaborate in a multi-client environment and communicate effectively.
