Job summary

HigherRing is seeking a remote Bookkeeping Specialist (US & Canada) to join a small team and keep clients’ financial operations clean and timely. This is a W-2, not a contractor role with wages of $25-27/hr plus full benefits.

You will handle full-stack bookkeeping tasks, collaborate with clients to understand needs, and support month-end reporting, cash flow, and tax prep assistance as needed, all while upholding HigherRing’s values and mission.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of bookkeeping experience and deep knowledge of full-charge bookkeeping.
• US and Canada bookkeeping experience is required.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, Sage, NetSuite, Wave, or similar software; proficient in Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Support client bookkeeping functions including AR, AP, bank reconciliations, payroll, journal entries, and reporting.
• Create and interpret financial reports such as Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss, and cash flows.
• Ensure month-end and year-end processes are smooth with timely reports and assist in tax preparation as requested.
