Job summary

Lob is seeking a Business Operations Manager to own cross-functional programs spanning Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, our Print & Delivery Network, and Go-to-Market. You’ll turn ambiguous problems into documented, measured processes with named owners and clear end dates.

You’ll analyze, coordinate across teams that don’t report to you, and deliver executive updates to gain alignment and drive results.

Qualifications

• 4-7+ years post-undergrad in management consulting/corporate strategy or business operations.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong program scoping, dependency sequencing and cross-functional delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written executive communication.
• Analytical rigor with data/BI mindset; SQL helpful but not required.
• Self-direction, curiosity, and ability to operate in ambiguity.
• Track record delivering cross-functional outcomes with measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Own three to five concurrent cross-functional programs with defined end states and owners.
• Drive outcomes across Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, Partner Ops, Solutions, and GTM.
• Diagnose workflows, quantify current state costs, and design automated replacements.
• Deliver analyses using Lob's data/reporting stack and available AI tooling.
• Document programs on completion and transition to a permanent owner with a lasting metric.
• Prepare and deliver program reviews and leadership updates with recommendations.
• Provide backup for FP&A, Deal Desk, and operating cadences like QBRs.
