Job summary

Repligen Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to sell upstream and downstream processing solutions to new and existing customers across a territory including Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. This home office-based role reports to the Regional Sales Director.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in biopharma or life sciences with sales experience.
• BSc in science; knowledge of cell culture, chromatography, and filtration.
• Proven sales and key account management experience.
• Ability to build mutually beneficial relationships with customers, suppliers and partners.
• Willing to travel extensively across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales opportunities to meet or exceed targets.
• Develop and execute a Territory Sales Plan.
• Develop Opportunity Pipeline using a market leading CRM.
• Lead sales negotiations with technical and procurement departments.
• Establish and maintain strategic and key account relationships.
• Prospect and develop new target accounts across the territory.
• Develop and support customers as they move through the clinical pipeline from lab-scale to full process scale solutions.
• Interface with Business and Market Development to share product and market information.
• Support the development of sales collateral.
• Provide Manufacturing and QA/QC with timely information for forecasting and audits.
• Execute all aspects of field sales activities including visits, presentations, quotes and negotiations.
• Attend and manage trade show activities.
