Job summary

Repligen is seeking an Account Manager to sell its upstream and downstream bioprocessing solutions across a territory spanning New Jersey, New York, and Delaware. This home-office role reports to the Regional Sales Director and requires a strong track record in life sciences sales and strategic account management.

You will drive opportunities, develop a territory plan, manage pipeline in a CRM, and negotiate with technical and procurement teams, while building lasting customer relationships

Qualifications

• A minimum of a BSc degree + in a scientific discipline or equivalent.
• Proven successful sales track record and key account management experience.
• Proven ability to build mutually beneficial, personable, trusting relationships with customers, suppliers and partners.
• Willing to travel extensively throughout the territory.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales opportunities direct at the customer to meet or exceed sales and profitability targets
• Develop and execute a Territory Sales Plan in close collaboration with the District Sales Manager
• Drive Opportunity Pipeline development using a market leading CRM
• Lead sales negotiations with technical and procurement departments
• Establish and maintain strategic and key account relationships
• Prospect and develop new target accounts across the territory in conjunction with the wider commercial team (BSS and FAS)
• Develop and support customers as they move through the clinical pipeline from lab-scale to full process scale solutions
• Support the development of sales collateral
• Provide Manufacturing and QA/QC operations with timely information to support forecasting, customer complaint handling and facility audits
• Execute all aspects of field sales activity to include customer visits, technical presentations, quote preparation and negotiation
• Attend, manage, and follow-up on the trade show activities
