Job summary

Repligen is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to sell upstream and downstream processing solutions to customers across the New Jersey, New York, and Delaware territory. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this is a home office-based role with travel across the territory.

Candidate will have a BSc in a scientific discipline, a proven sales and key account management track record, and the ability to build trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum BSc degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent.
• Proven successful sales track record with key account management experience.
• Ability to build mutually beneficial relationships with customers, suppliers and partners.
• Willing to travel extensively across the territory.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales opportunities to meet or exceed targets.
• Develop and execute Territory Sales Plan with District Sales Manager.
• Develop pipeline using CRM.
• Lead sales negotiations with technical and procurement teams.
• Establish and maintain strategic key accounts.
• Prospect and develop new target accounts with the commercial team.
• Support customers through the clinical pipeline from lab-scale to full-scale.
• Support development of sales collateral.
• Provide Manufacturing and QA/QC operations with forecasting, customer complaint handling and facility audits.
• Execute all aspects of field sales activities: visits, presentations, quotes, negotiations.
• Attend and follow-up at trade shows.
