Job summary

Repligen is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive sales of upstream and downstream processing solutions across the Northeast from a home-office base. The role requires proven sales and key account management skills, with extensive travel across the territory.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will build strategic relationships, manage an active pipeline, and collaborate with the broader commercial team to move customers from lab-scale to full process scale solutions.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a BSc degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent.
• Proven successful sales track record and key account management experience.
• Proven ability to build mutually beneficial, personable, trusting relationships with customers, suppliers and partners.
• Willing to travel extensively throughout the territory.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales opportunities directly at the customer to meet or exceed sales and profitability targets.
• Develop and execute a Territory Sales Plan in close collaboration with the District Sales Manager.
• Drive Opportunity Pipeline development using a market leading CRM.
• Lead sales negotiations with technical and procurement departments.
• Establish and maintain strategic and key account relationships.
• Prospect and develop new target accounts across the territory in conjunction with the wider commercial team (BSS and FAS).
• Develop and support customers as they move through the clinical pipeline from lab-scale to full process scale solutions.
• Support the development of sales collateral.
• Provide Manufacturing and QA/QC operations with timely information to support forecasting, customer complaint handling and facility audits.
• Execute all aspects of field sales activity to include customer visits, technical presentations, quote preparation and negotiation.
• Attend, manage, and follow-up on the trade show activities.
