Envision Radiology is seeking a remote Billing Supervisor to lead the payments team and optimize posting revenue across our organization. This role manages day-to-day billing operations, analyzes payer payments, and collaborates with leadership to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in healthcare billing, prior supervisory experience, and strong communication skills, with a focus on process improvements and compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Three plus years’ experience in healthcare billing with strong knowledge of coding, third party payer’s billing requirements, authorizations and collections.
• Previous Management experience required with experience in staff supervision
• Knowledge in medical terminology
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
• Strong communication skills & professional demeanor

Responsabilidades

• Lead and supervise the payments team within Billing Services to include supervision of payment systems/sources and staff to ensure optimal results and workflow.
• Spearhead workflow strategy to efficiently coordinate and post ERA, patient and lockbox payments.
• Monitor, analyze, and provide reimbursement reporting on insurance payers to Management.
• Serve as escalation source and resource to team and other departments and assist in resolving payer issues.
• Supervise and maintain staffing schedules.
• Maintain compliance, policies, trainings, communication and engagement throughout the team.
• Research, detect trends and resolve a wide variety of payments issues including internal system issues, payer system issues and vendor issues.
• Work closely with other department supervisors and leadership and act as liaison between departments and vendors.
• Identify possible process improvements and standardization.
• Assist with training, orientation, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions.
