The ideal candidate has 3+ years in healthcare billing with management experience, a solid understanding of coding and payer requirements, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in healthcare billing with knowledge of payer requirements and collections
• Previous management experience with staff supervision
• Knowledge in medical terminology
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
• Ability to navigate multiple screens and browsers quickly and accurately
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to exceed company and customer expectations

Responsibilities

• Provides daily leadership and operations support to the payments team within Billing Services
• Spearheads workflow strategy for efficient import and posting of ERA, payments
• Monitors, analyzes, and reports on insurance payer reimbursements
• Acts as escalation source and resolves payer issues
• Supervises staffing schedules
• Maintains compliance, trainings, and engagement across the team
• Identifies process improvements and standardization
• Forecasts staffing needs with Human Resources
• Other duties as assigned
