Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I to join our Billing team. This remote role can be performed from anywhere in the United States, with locations in Cherryville, NC, or fully remote options.

The position focuses on accurate billing processes, invoicing, and communication with service providers to support Cox Fleet operations. Responsibilities include VMRS coding, invoice costing, audits for discrepancies, and timely processing of invoices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Experience with data entry, faxing, emailing, and document copying.
• Prior VMRS coding and billing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Audit invoices to verify no discrepancies and confirm customer approval limits.
• Code and cost invoices using VMRS and audit to ensure correct billing.
• Undertake additional duties within the Billing department.
