Job summary

Cox Automotive in the USA is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I to join our Billing team in Cherryville, NC or remotely. This role ensures accurate billing processes and clear communication with service providers and team members, supporting timely invoicing within Cox Fleet.

Responsibilities include contacting providers about discrepancies, coding and auditing invoices, and processing rebills for Roadside and TMCare services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with data entry, faxing, emailing, and document copying preferred.
• VMRS coding and billing experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail in high-volume work.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Contact service providers about invoice discrepancies or inquiries.
• Determine and mark invoices as Work & Cost Complete (WACC).
• Audit reviews to ensure no discrepancies and customer approval limits.
• Drag and drop invoices into appropriate events in the system.
• Execute TMCare resets as applicable.
• Process rebills for Roadside and TMCare services.
• Index invoices into the workflow system.
• Perform VMRS coding and costing of invoices and audit for correct billing.
• Respond to PO line inquiries and handle overflow calls.
• Undertake additional duties in Billing as assigned.
