Cox Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I to join our Billing team in Cherryville, NC or remotely in the USA. This role focuses on accurate invoicing, coding, and communication with service providers to support timely billing operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience using computers for data entry, faxing, emailing, and copying.
• Prior VMRS coding and billing experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work accurately.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Contact service providers regarding invoice discrepancies or inquiries.
• Mark invoices as Work & Cost Complete (WACC).
• Audit invoices for discrepancies and verify customer approval limits.
• Drag and drop invoices into appropriate events in the system.
• Execute TMCare resets as applicable.
• Process rebills for Roadside and TMCare services.
• Index invoices into the workflow system.
• VMRS coding and costing of invoices; audit for correct billing.
• Respond to PO line inquiries and handle overflow calls.
• Undertake additional duties within Billing as needed.
