Cox Automotive - USA is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I to join our Billing team. This role supports accurate billing for Cox Fleet, coding, auditing, and processing invoices, and resolving discrepancies with service providers. Location options include Cherryville, NC or remote within the country.

The position emphasizes accuracy, data entry, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment, with opportunities to grow within the billing function.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience using computers and office equipment for data entry, faxing, emailing, and document copying preferred.
Prior VMRS coding and billing experience is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work accurately.

Responsibilities

Contact service providers regarding invoice discrepancies or inquiries.
Determine and mark invoices as Work & Cost Complete (WACC).
Audit invoices to ensure accuracy and customer approval limits.
Drag and drop invoices into appropriate events within the system.
Execute TMCare resets as applicable.
Process rebills for Roadside and TMCare services.
Index invoices into the workflow system.
Perform VMRS coding and costing of invoices, and audit invoices for correct billing.
Respond to PO line inquiries and handle overflow calls.
Undertake additional duties within the Billing department.
