Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I to join our Billing team, with the option to work remotely from anywhere in the United States or locally in Cherryville, NC. You will code, audit, and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely billing for Cox Fleet services.

This role focuses on VMRS coding and costings, communication with service providers, and supporting efficient billing workflows.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience using computers and office equipment for data entry, faxing, emailing, and document copying.
• Prior experience with VMRS coding and billing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Audit reviews the invoice to make sure there are no discrepancies and verifying we have the customers approval limit to proceed.
• Perform VMRS coding and costing of invoices, and audit invoices to ensure correct billing.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned within the Billing department.
