Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I to join the Billing team. This role focuses on accurate invoicing, effective communication with service providers, and timely processing of invoices for Cox Fleet. Remote work options are available across the United States.

You will audit invoices, resolve discrepancies, implement VMRS coding, and ensure billing workflows run smoothly in a fast-paced environment. This position offers hourly pay with potential incentives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience using computers and office equipment for data entry.
• VMRS coding and billing experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Contact service providers regarding invoice discrepancies or inquiries.
• Determine and mark invoices as Work & Cost Complete (WACC).
• Audit reviews the invoice for discrepancies and verify customer approval limit.
• Drag and drop invoices into appropriate events within the system.
• Execute TMCare resets as applicable.
• Process rebills for Roadside and TMCare services.
• Index invoices into the workflow system.
• Perform VMRS coding and costing of invoices, and audit invoices to ensure correct billing.
• Respond to PO line inquiries and handle overflow calls.
• Undertake additional duties within the Billing department.
