Cox Automotive is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Specialist I to join our billing team. The role can be performed remotely within the United States and requires accuracy in coding, auditing invoices, and communicating with service providers.

The position supports Cox Fleet billing and may involve processing invoices for Roadside and TMCare services. We value organized, detail-focused individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to grow within the billing function.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with VMRS coding and billing is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Contact service providers regarding invoice discrepancies or inquiries.
• Determine and mark invoices as Work & Cost Complete (WACC).
• Audit reviews the invoice to ensure no discrepancies and verify customers' approval limit to proceed.
• Drag and drop invoices into appropriate events within the system.
• Execute TMCare resets as applicable.
• Process rebills for Roadside and TMCare services
• Index invoices into the workflow system.
• Perform VMRS coding and costing of invoices, and audit invoices to ensure correct billing.
• Respond to Purchase Order (PO) line inquiries and handle overflow calls.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned within the Billing department.
