RethinkFirst is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to support billing teams with accurate posting and reconciliation of therapy session payments. This role focuses on HIPAA-compliant handling of client data, reviewing EOBs/ERAs, and posting payments across multiple billing platforms.

Ideal candidates bring 1–2 years of payment posting experience, familiarity with insurance portals, and strong attention to detail. Remote opportunities exist in listed states; traditional hours apply.

Qualifikationen

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required
• 1-2 years payment posting experience
• ABA experience
• Experience using insurance company websites/portals
• Willing to learn, positive attitude and loves a good challenge
• Professional phone skills
• Excellent attention to detail and communication with internal teams and insurers

Aufgaben

• Reconcile payments posted electronically from the clearinghouse
• Post manual payments in all billing platforms (Rethink, Tebra, Azalea)
• Review and interpret EOBs and ERAs
• Post payments from insurance portals
• Ensure timely reimbursement reconciliation for therapy sessions
• Monitor enrollment (ERAs) to reduce manual posting
• Communicate trends to AR team for client clarity
• Identify underpayments/overpayments and coordinate resolution
