Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to support our Billing Services team by reconciling therapy session payments and posting them across multiple billing platforms to maintain accurate accounts receivable.

The role requires a HS diploma, 1–2 years of payment posting experience, ABA exposure, and proficiency with insurance portals. Remote work is available in listed states, with a strong emphasis on detail and collaboration.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1–2 years payment posting experience required.
• ABA experience preferred.
• Experience using insurance company websites/portals preferred.
• Willing to learn and maintain professional communication with internal teams and insurers.
• Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HIPAA-compliant confidentiality with all client data.
• Reconcile payments posted electronically from the clearinghouse.
• Post manual payments in all billing platforms (Rethink, Tebra, Azalea).
• Review and interpret EOBs and ERAs.
• Post payments from insurance portals and enroll in ERAs when applicable.
• Communicate trends identified to the AR team for client accounts.
