Job summary

RethinkFirst, a leader in behavioral health training tools, seeks a Reconciliation Specialist to support its Billing Services team. You will ensure accurate posting of therapy payments, reconcile electronic and manual postings, and review EOBs/ERAs to support timely reimbursement for clients.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of payment posting experience, HIPAA awareness, and strong communication skills. Remote opportunities are available within select states.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1–2 years payment posting experience.
• ABA experience (applied behavior analysis) preferred.
• Experience using insurance company websites/portals.
• Professional phone skills and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HIPAA-confidential handling of client data.
• Reconcile electronically posted payments from the clearinghouse.
• Post manual payments in billing platforms (Rethink, Tebra, Azalea).
• Review EOBs and ERAs for accuracy and timely posting.
• Post payments from insurance portals and enroll in ERAs when applicable.
• Communicate billing trends to the AR team for resolution.
