RethinkFirst is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to support our billing teams by reconciling therapy session reimbursements and posting payments in billing systems for accurate A/R. You will work with insurance companies and internal teams to ensure timely reimbursements and data integrity.

This role emphasizes detail, critical thinking, and professional communication. Remote options are available in specified states, including OH, with full-time, hourly scheduling Monday–Friday.

Formación

• HS Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1–2 years payment posting experience.
• ABA experience.
• Experience using insurance company portals.
• Professional phone skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication with internal teams and insurers.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure HIPAA-confidential handling of client data.
• Reconcile payments posted from the clearinghouse.
• Post manual payments in billing platforms (Rethink, Tebra, Azalea).
• Review EOBs/ERAs and post portal payments.
• Enroll in ERAs to reduce manual posting and monitor enrollment progress.
• Communicate trends to CBA/AR teams for client accounts.
• Identify underpayments/overpayments and coordinate resolutions.
• Measure metrics related to work performance.
• Review payor contracts when applicable.
• Support a positive team environment and assist with special projects.
