Job summary

RethinkFirst is seeking a Reconciliation Specialist to support our billing services by reconciling therapy-session reimbursements and posting payments across multiple platforms. You will collaborate with the billing team and insurers to ensure accurate accounts receivable and timely reimbursements.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of payment posting experience, HIPAA awareness, and strong attention to detail with professional communication skills.

• Professional phone etiquette
• Ability to interpret payor contracts

Responsibilities

• Support billing teams by reconciling payments with insurance payments
• Post manual payments across billing platforms (Rethink, Tebra, Azalea)
• Review EOBs/ERAs and monitor accounts receivable
• Enroll in ERAs to reduce manual posting and track enrollment progress
• Communicate trends to AR team for client resolution
• Identify underpayments/overpayments and coordinate with teams
