Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is hiring a Bilingual Physician to join the Virtual Urgent Care team. You will provide virtual care to Oscar Health Insurance members, with Spanish fluency, across designated states, reporting to the Medical Director, Virtual Urgent Care.

We offer full-time schedules (8-hour shifts) with day and evening options, including one weekend every four weeks. This remote role requires residency in one of the eligible states and may require occasional travel for meetings and events.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited program.
• Board Certification in ER, FM, or IM.
• Fluency in Spanish (read, write, speak).
• 3+ years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience.
• 2+ years of delivering virtual care/telemedicine.
• Must be onboarded with active licenses in TN and FL via IMLC.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care in a virtual setting for Oscar Health Insurance members.
• Collaborate with care team on complex patients.
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and communications with patients and providers.
• Utilize remote examination tools and home monitoring equipment.
• Participate in regular meetings to support patient care and care line initiatives.
• Contribute to workflow and product improvement while complying with laws and regulations.
