Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is hiring a bilingual physician to join our Virtual Urgent Care team. You will provide virtual-based care to Oscar Health Insurance members within designated Oscar states using audio, video, and written communication.

Hours are full-time with day or evening shifts and a weekend rotation every four weeks. This remote role requires residency in one of the approved states. Base pay ranges from $227,226 to $298,233 per year, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited program.
• Board Certification (ER/FM/IM).
• 3+ years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience.
• 2+ years of virtual care/telemedicine.
• Must be onboarded with active licenses in TN and FL via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
• Willingness to be licensed in additional states with our assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care for patients in a virtual setting.
• Collaborate with Physicians and/or Advanced Practice Leads on the Care Team as needed for complex patients.
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers as needed.
• Use virtual exams and remote home monitoring equipment.
• Participate in collaborative care model with care team members.
• Attend meetings to support patient care and service line All Hands.
• Provide feedback to improve operations and product features.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
