Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is hiring a Bilingual Physician to join its Virtual Urgent Care team. You will provide care to Oscar Health Insurance members remotely, using audio, video, and written communication, reporting to the Medical Director, Virtual Urgent Care.

We offer full-time schedules (eight-hour shifts) with day and evening options and weekend rotation; remote work from home across multiple states; base pay $227,226–$298,233 annually plus CME, PTO, 401k and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited program.
• Board Certification in ER/FM/IM.
• 3+ years of outpatient urgent care or emergency department experience.
• 2+ years of delivering virtual care/telemedicine.
• Active medical licenses in multiple states via IMLC (TN/FL) or eligible for compact licensing.

Responsibilities

• Provide virtual-based care to Oscar Health Insurance members.
• Collaborate with Physicians and/or Advanced Practice Leads on the Care Team for complex patients.
• Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed loop communication with patients and other providers.
• Use remote monitoring tools for virtual exams and remote point-of-care diagnostics.
• Participate in collaborative care with nurses, medical assistants, PCPs, behavioral health clinicians and supervisors.
• Attend required meetings to support patient care (huddles, case conferencing, All Hands).
• Provide feedback to improve operational workflows and product features.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
