Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking a BESS Engineer III to lead the design, development, and optimization of battery energy storage projects. This fully remote role involves engineering oversight to ensure performance, reliability, and safety across utility-scale facilities.

Responsibilities include SME guidance, system sizing analyses, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners to deliver high‑quality BESS solutions on time and within budget. PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; Master's preferred.
• 3+ years of electrical engineering experience focused on BESS, renewables, or power systems.
• Experience in design, integration and optimization of battery energy storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for BESS engineering scopes guiding project teams.
• Lead design and engineering of BESS to meet contracts, utilities and AHJ requirements.
• Review studies and analyses to recommend optimal BESS configurations.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with EPC partners.
