Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly entrepreneurial Business Development Manager for Battery Energy Storage Systems. This remote role targets national coverage with emphasis on the Western US.

You will steward a large lead database, develop new relationships and drive complex BESS opportunities from first contact through contract execution. Expect about five years in quota-carrying BD or technical sales, strong CRM discipline, and the ability to discuss equipment, financing and

Qualifications

• Minimum five years quota-carrying business development or similar sales experience in battery energy storage.
• Demonstrated success in originating, developing and closing complex BESS opportunities.
• Ability to discuss pricing, contracts and financing with executives.
• Existing network of developers, EPCs, IPPs, asset owners or channel partners.
• Willingness to travel for conferences, meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Create a structured process to develop the existing lead database and build a qualified pipeline.
• Conduct outbound prospecting, calls, emails and meetings to generate opportunities.
• Qualify opportunities by project type, size, location and financing needs.
• Collaborate with engineering and leadership to develop technically and commercially viable proposals.
• Manage HubSpot records, forecast, and ensure clean pipeline reporting.
