Job summary

Aspen Aerogels, Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager for Battery Energy Storage Systems to drive growth in North America.

You will own revenue, bookings, and margins while expanding relationships with BESS integrators, manufacturers, EPCs, developers, asset owners, and other key stakeholders. The role requires a proven track record in technical sales, strong executive communication, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through long-cycle opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive sales.
• 3+ business development experience in BESS or related tech.
• Proven track record of meeting revenue targets in long-cycle sales.
• Willingness to travel 40–50% across the US and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Owning revenue, bookings, gross margin, and new customer targets in North American BESS market.
• Developing relationships with system integrators, manufacturers, EPCs, and asset owners.
• Lead complex, long-cycle opportunities from prospecting to contract execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and provide executive updates.
