Job summary

Trimble Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to bridge marketing and sales for us-based opportunities. You will identify new prospects, conduct discovery calls and product demos, and qualify leads to grow the North American pipeline.

This role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, global environment. Location is remote within the US with about 20% travel to events and customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and nurture new sales opportunities through proactive inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting.
• Conduct initial discovery calls and demonstrations to identify customer needs, qualify prospects, and transition deals to sales.
• Partner closely with Marketing and Sales to analyze market trends, craft messaging, and drive strategic outreach in key industry verticals.
• Represent Transporeon and Trimble at industry trade shows and conferences to engage prospects and generate high-value onsite meetings.
• Engage regularly with global team members across time zones to align on pipeline growth and cross-functional initiatives.
