Job summary

Sovos is seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to connect businesses with our tax compliance solutions. You’ll be the first point of contact, sparking interest through outreach and relationship-building to fuel our sales pipeline.

In this role you’ll work with Sales Executives on territory plans, use AI-assisted workflows to manage opportunities, and independently promote Sovos’ solutions while building a strong, active pipeline across the market.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and a track record of meeting goals in client-facing roles.
• Effective engagement with mid-level and executive contacts.
• Comfortable with AI-assisted workflows and CRM tools like Salesforce.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities.
• Creative problem-solver with strong planning and prioritization.
• Background check and drug test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Generate qualified sales meetings by identifying and engaging potential prospects.
• Partner with Sales Executives to develop and execute territory plans.
• Use AI tools to manage multiple sales opportunities and build a strong pipeline.
• Independently introduce and promote Sovos' solutions to customers and prospects.
• Develop and deliver forecasts of revenue goals and outreach objectives.
