Job summary

Trimble Inc. is seeking a Business Development Representative to act as the bridge between marketing and sales, identifying new opportunities and connecting industry leaders with Transporeon and Trimble's transportation technology solutions.

You will be the first point of contact for potential customers, shaping our sales pipeline and accelerating growth across North America, with remote work options in the US and 20% travel.

Qualifications

• Identify, evaluate, and nurture new sales opportunities through proactive inbound lead qualification and outbound prospecting.
• Conduct initial discovery calls and demonstrations to identify customer needs, qualify prospects, and transition deals to sales representatives.
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to analyze market trends, craft messaging, and drive outreach in key verticals.
• Engage with global team members across time zones to align on pipeline growth and cross-functional initiatives.
• Demonstrate a strong interest in starting or advancing a career in business development, software sales, or customer engagement.
• Show high self-motivation, adaptability, and time-management to handle multiple outreach streams.
