Job summary

SKAN US, Inc. in Raleigh, NC, is seeking an Aseptic Technologies Business Development Manager for the Eastern Region. The role is remote and requires you to be based on the East Coast, with travel across North America.

You will identify opportunities, build technical and commercial relationships, guide customers through product selection, proposals, and contracts, and collaborate with global teams to promote AT products and single-use technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related technical field; advanced degree is a plus.
• 2–5+ years in pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical or lab equipment sales, supporting cGMP or ATMP.
• Strong understanding of pharma processes, regulatory requirements, and customer applications.
• Proven track record in developing new business and meeting sales goals.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with technical and business stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel across North America; valid driver’s license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing accounts in pharma/biotech/ATMP.
• Serve as trusted technical and commercial advisor from product selection to contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Project Management, Service, and global teams to deliver solutions.
• Manage full sales cycle including CRM updates, forecasting, quotes, and bid reviews.
• Provide market feedback to support new product development and stay informed on industry trends.
• Represent SKAN and Aseptic Technologies at meetings, conferences, and professional organizations.
• Provide first-line technical support and maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
• Travel extensively in the Eastern Region (~50%, 15–75% monthly).
