Job summary

Sartorius North America is seeking a Field Application Specialist to support design, validation, and implementation of fluid management solutions from Raleigh/Durham with a remote-friendly model. You will assist sales with product design, positioning, demonstrations, and customer training across the region and potentially nearby states.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical demos, trials, and customer evaluations, along with collaboration with Commercial teams to craft propositions that close

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering or related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of technical sales, applications support, or presales in scientific/technical environments; single-use experience valued.
• Demonstrated hunter mindset with ability to identify, advance, and win opportunities.
• Strong hands-on technical capability for demos, trials, and customer evaluations.
• Excellent consultative communication skills to articulate technical and commercial value.
• Willingness to travel >50% for external customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Identify new customers and opportunities in collaboration with Commercial to generate and qualify pipeline.
• Plan, execute, and manage technical demonstrations and trials to validate fit and accelerate adoption.
• Position solutions and address objections through technical selling and value-based discussions.
• Collaborate with Commercial teams to develop customer proposals and offers.
• Deliver pre- and post-sales technical support to ensure customer adoption and repeat business.
• Capture Voice-of-Customer insights to influence product portfolio and sales enablement.
