Job summary

Eastman seeks a North America Business Development Manager focusing on the US to drive market activation and build deep customer relationships. You will manage opportunities from awareness to commercialization and partner with cross-functional teams to tailor customer offers.

This remote role is based in the US with significant travel (75%+). You will work with Sales, Marketing, and Technical teams to identify new business and grow personal-care ingredient opportunities across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s/PhD preferred.
• Fluent English communication required.
• Several years in business development or external-facing roles in a multinational.
• Willingness to travel 75%+.
• Visa sponsorship not offered for this position.

Responsibilities

• Drive market activation and build deep, multi-contact customer relationships across US and LATAM as applicable.
• Engage potential customers to understand unmet needs and buying processes.
• Expand sales opportunities using market knowledge and competitive data.
• Maintain front-end funnel and Opportunity Management discipline to drive deals.
• Use CRM and systems for timely updates and handoffs to Account Managers.
• Support customer development, evaluation, and decision-making for new solutions.
• Present value propositions showing Eastman solutions' advantages to customers.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Applications, Tech Services, Sales, and Product Management.
