Job summary

Affiirm is building a de novo bank and seeks a senior operations leader to own core banking platforms and scale deposit and lending operations. You will coordinate with servicing teams to build controlled processes, ensure transparency, and deliver reliable financial products.

Role emphasizes ownership of Finxact core, digital banking platforms, and end-to-end operations readiness, with strong vendor management and regulatory governance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of banking operations or core-platform delivery experience.
• Experience with core banking platforms, Finxact or similar.
• Experience launching or building a de novo bank preferred.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and risk management.
• Proven leadership and vendor-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own Finxact core system implementation, configuration, and administration.
• Manage Savana digital account opening and online/mobile banking experiences.
• Lead operational launch readiness, including training and cutover.
• Direct daily deposit operations, reconciliations, and regulatory reporting.
• Direct lending operations, underwriting validation, and funding approvals.
• Oversee loan purchase/sale operations, audits, and documentation.
• Maintain the operational control environment with policies and governance.
• Manage vendor relationships, service levels, incidents, and remediation.
• Develop a high-performing operations team with metrics and reporting.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Compliance, Risk, and others to design scalable workflows.
