Job summary

Westlake Floorplan Company, a division of Westlake Financial Services, seeks an experienced Automotive Floorplan Portfolio Manager (Area Manager) to build and manage a dealer portfolio. Remote work available with heavy travel across the United States; strong relationships and financial acumen required.

You will lead sales strategies, oversee servicing, and develop risk models to ensure portfolio health while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish, both verbal and written.
• Industry knowledge in automotive sector and financial terminology.
• Strong financial acumen and familiarity with financial tools.
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.
• Excellent time management to meet deadlines.
• Negotiation and collection capabilities for portfolio hygiene.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• BA/BS in related field and 3+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combo.
• 2+ years of related experience in finance, sales, account management and/or collections.
• Willingness to travel >75%; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sales Management: develop and implement dealer client acquisition strategies; build relationships with dealership owners and decision-makers.
• Servicing: oversee the floorplan portfolio servicing and monitor account performance; address client issues.
• Risk Management: monitor dealer conditions, develop risk models, ensure policy/regulatory compliance, track portfolio performance.
